Dr. Anjali Bhagirath

Dr. Anjali Bhagirath, a Periodontist and Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCDC), brings a blend of clinical expertise and academic distinction to her practice. An Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry, she actively contributes to clinical care, teaching, and research.
After earning her BDS in 2008 and practicing for several years, Dr. Anjali pursued a PhD in Oral Biology at the University of Manitoba, specializing in microbiology. She further advanced her training with postdoctoral research at CHRIM (Manitoba) and Harvard’s GCSRT program, completing her residency and Master’s in Periodontics (MSc) at the University of Alberta.
Dr. Anjali’s dedication to research and community service has earned her numerous awards and publications, reflecting her commitment to integrating evidence-based, cutting-edge advancements into patient care. She offers comprehensive periodontal therapy, treating a wide range of conditions with a personalized, patient-focused approach. She works collaboratively with patients to ensure they feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment.
Outside of work, Dr. Anjali enjoys quality time with her family and cherished four-legged babies, exploring the Canadian outdoors.
She takes immense pride in serving her community and welcomes referrals for all aspects of periodontal care, striving to help every patient achieve optimal periodontal health.
