Dr. Matthew Morris

BSc (Hons), BDS (DDS), PGCME, MSc, MPerio, MFDS (RCS Ed) FRCDC

Matthew completed his undergraduate degrees in pharmacology (BSc) and dental surgery (BDS) at the University of Liverpool, UK. Matthew worked as a general dentist over a number of years and received awards individually and was part of the team awarded the best UK dental practice. Matthew became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh (MFDS RCS Ed) during this time. After which, he achieved post-graduate certificate in medical education (PGCME) from the University of Wolverhampton and a masters of science (MSc) degree in clinical periodontology from the University of Central Lancashire.

In September 2020, Matthew moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia to further his career in Periodontics, which he achieved from Dalhousie university in 2023. He has also become a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCDC).

During his time in Halifax, Matthew fell in love with not only Atlantic Canada but he also met his wife and now has the privilege to call Halifax home.

Away from the office, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife, playing soccer, travelling, going to church, the gym, watching comedy shows, skiing and scuba diving.

Dr Morris is happy to receive referrals for all aspects of periodontal and implant therapy. This includes: non-surgical and surgical debridement, crown lengthening, hard and soft tissue grafts, dental implants and sinus lifts.
